Create Your Account
Sign Up for KeyBolt
Getting started with KeyBolt takes less than two minutes. Head to keybolt.app/signup in your phone or desktop browser and fill in the following:
- Shop name — the business name your customers know you by (e.g., "Ace Lock & Key").
- Your name — first and last. This is how you'll appear on invoices and job assignments.
- Email address — used for login and for receiving payment notifications.
- Password — at least 8 characters. Use something unique you don't reuse on other sites.
- Phone number — your primary business line. This is used for SMS notifications and can be displayed on invoices.
Tap Create Account and check your email inbox for a verification link. Click the link to confirm your address and you'll be taken straight into your dashboard.
Your 14-Day Free Trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. A credit card is required at signup. You can add customers, create jobs, send invoices, and manage your whole operation before deciding if KeyBolt is right for your shop. Cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged.
Near the end of your trial, you'll see a banner reminding you to subscribe. Head to Settings > Billing to pick your plan at $59/month. If you don't subscribe, your account becomes read-only — no data is ever deleted.
What Happens After Signup
Once your email is verified, KeyBolt automatically sets up your shop with:
- Six default job templates (Residential Lockout, Car Lockout, Commercial Lockout, Rekey, Lock Install, Key Duplication) with standard pricing.
- Your dashboard with today's schedule, revenue tracking, and outstanding invoices.
- A customer list ready for your first entry.
You're the owner of your organization. Later you can invite techs and dispatchers from Settings > Team.
