Auto-reply fires within seconds, and Google’s own Local Services Ads guidance lists responsiveness among the factors in ad ranking. The LSA performance dashboard shows your answer rate, the times of day you miss the most, and which leads were short or wrong-number so you can ask Google for a refund.

Jobs, customers, photos, notes, and inventory counts keep working in a basement or a parking garage, and on an iPhone your key codes do too, and everything syncs the moment you get bars back. Money and the inbox need a connection, on purpose: if a phone is lost, nothing financial is sitting on it. Take card payments on the iPhone itself with Tap to Pay, with no reader to buy or charge. Tap to Pay is not on Android yet, so on an Android phone you send the bill or record the payment another way.
